• Design: Long straight ear wire with a hooked upper curve; a detailed peacock in profile mounted at the midpoint, body worked in fine ribbed engraving with a raised curved neck and crest; the fanned tail rendered in openwork filigree scrollwork behind the body; small round stones set into the tail and body; a cluster of four to five small round ghungroo bells hanging from the lower edge of the bird on tiny jump rings; the ear wire continuing below the motif in a clean straight line
